I am hosting a Scam Stopper Seminar in partnership with Los Angeles Councilmember Monica Rodriguez, the California Privacy Protection Agency, and the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation. The seminar will be held on Tuesday, July 14^th from 10:00 to 11:30 am. The location of the event is the North Valley City Hall located at 7747 Foothill Boulevard in Tujunga. Learn which scams to watch out for, how to protect yourself from scams, and California’s new Delete Request and Opt-out Platform (DROP). Free resources will be provided.

Our office is inviting community members to a special event with Gloria Roberts, Caltrans District 7 Director, to discuss California’s transportation priorities and projects in the 44th Assembly District.

This meeting will cover:

• Upcoming freeway and infrastructure projects in our district (210, 2, 5, 405, 170, 101, 134).
• Maintenance issues including litter, debris, fencing, and lighting.
• Coordination with the City, County, and CHP on encampments and public safety.
• Improvements to the Customer Service Request (CSR) app.
• Workforce and staffing challenges within Caltrans.

Call to schedule an appointment with CHP representatives for a car seat inspection, and hands-on lesson on how to install it safely.
